first we do the top.3+2=55-8= -3then we do the bottom.3*2=66+1=7the final answer is-3 7since the 3 is negative, then the whole fraction is negative and the - sign would go in front of the whole fraction. i would do that but i cant when i'm typing. :)

Roma -Try to remember the acronym PEDMDA for the "order" or operations.  This little chant may help:Pandas Eat Mustard on Dumplings and Apples with SpiceP = ParenthesisE = ExponentsM&D = Multiplication and DivisionA&S = Addition and SubtractionSo, for your problem you have two sets of parenthesis in the numerator, so each of these must be done first and separately:(3+2) = 5(-8) = -8So, the numerator is (5)(-8) = -40the denominator is 6 + 1 = 7Final answer = -40 / 7
