You don't notice it, but you use the scientific method daily.Think about it, when you see something and don't know how it works, you might think that, "Hey, maybe it works like this...."That basically translates into a hypothesis. The question you have can be translated as a problem.If you ever try solving a puzzle, you have a problem presented to you. It's the puzzle; by trying to solve it, you hypothesize different methods in order to figure out just what piece goes where....so you're already applying the scientific method in your life, it's just that you don't use every step of it xD

It's called logical problem solving? It's fairly applicable even on a non-scientific setting. Call me a geek but I use it as a way to solve problems happening in a work-related scenario. To me life is a science that can involve mind-maps, algorithms, and flowcharts. I mean, look at The Big Bang Theory's Sheldon Cooper?
