since Mary has 11 or more dimes than nickels lets say she only has 1 nickel. since she only has 1 nickel, she has 21 dimes. This does not require an equation

if you want the equation let x be the number of nickels. Then the number of dimes yis>or =to x+11 the 2nd equation is 5x+10y=215

Use x as the variable for the number of dimes and u should be able to solve it with the following equation:$2.15=x+(x+11)
