Hi, I'm having trouble with questions like this:What is the slope of the line that has an equation of y = x - 3 ??And this is exactly slope intercept, so I would like to ask how to solve this?

If this isn't slope intercept, then what is it called?

It has a slope of 1 and crosses the y axis at -3. it crosses the x axis at 3. the slope is the number multiplied by x. which in this case is 1. you can also produce a table of values by plugging randon numbers in.

Once an equation is in the form y=mx+b , the coefficient of x is the slope of the line. Here the slope is 1 because the coefficient of x is 1.
