The Hundred Days has to do with Roosevelt's first 100 days in office, or the initiation of the New Deal.  During this time, he did more than any president before or since has done, creating many social programs like the CCC, AAA, WPA, FDIC, etc. Long Story Short: It was the beginning time where Roosevelt created social programs to boost the country out of the Depression.

It was FDR's first hundred days of presidency, where he passed a myriad of legislations nicknamed "Alphabet Soup" in order to boost the economy and help American citizens during the Great Depression. This also ties in with the New Deal, proposed by FDR, which was a plan devised by FDR to create more programs, promote government spending, etc.
