To find the domain, set the denominator to = 0 and solve for x. x - 3 = 0 x = 3 This means that x can be any other number except for 3. When x = 3 in this case, you create division by zero which does not exist. DOMAIN = ALL REAL NUMBERS except that x CANNOT = 3.
