first, change mg into g which becomes 0.354g from there, do conversions... (0.354g)(1 mol)/(40.078g+12.011g) =0.006796061 mol now here's your answer, but isn't it too ugly? so if you know sig. figs. and scientific notation, it will become = 6.80 x  10^-3 mol btw, 40.078g+12.011g = mass # of Ca + C hope this helped :)
