Graphing is never an exact solution, just close.  Assuming your coefficient of x is +8 the solution is x= 1.572599296x= -4.239265962No way to get this many decimals accuracy with graphical method, but the above answers aren't exact either!!!   The quadractic formula would give you some multiples of a number inside of a square root sign, presumably some irrational number.  Left that way would actually be the exact answers.
